My first fascination with programming started when I was young. I was introduced to ladder logic early on by my aunt who was an AS400 programmer at the time. As I grew up my fascination grew into video games and a dream of building them. I have always had a creative side and I fell in love with creating things. Somewhere in the 1990’s I found the blend of creativity and logic. This drove me into a new found passion. From that time I have had a hobby of game creation, from mechanics to content creation.
Back when Geocities was hosting websites that users could easily create, I was still young yet and was getting into my PC gaming hobby. This was when I first started down the path of learning HTML and building websites for gamers. Fast forward a bit, phones became smart and now had small games and quality of life Apps. I started to learn unity, as it was a popular method of App creation for games.
In 2018 I decided was time to chase my dreams. I returned to McHenry County College to find they had one of the top Mobile programs. In May of 2020 I completed a double major, an AAS in Mobile Design and Development and an AAS in Web Design and Development.
Today, I have learned to combine all I have learned from life, self teachings, and my education to create both mobile apps and websites from concept to production. Being able to utilize these skills and develop for others brings a joyful feelings while doing something I am passionate about.
